Equipment
- 1 bowl
- 1 spoon
- 1 rolling pin
- 1 knife
Ingredients
- 300 gr. flour
- 30 gr. counter top flour
- 1 tbsp. baking powder
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 200 ml water
- 3 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 clove garlic
- 300 gr. tomato juice
- 500 gr. mozzarella
- μερικά leaves basil
- λίγο grinded pepper
Instructions
- Pour the flour, salt, sugar, pepper, baking powder into the bowl and mix them with a balanced passion.
- Add the 2 spoons of olive oil, the water and mix hard together with the others, until we have a dough.
- We knead. Use your hand like you know, don't be afraid. Sprinkle a little more flour if needed so it doesn't stick.
- Add another spoonful of olive oil to the mixture and cover the dough in the bowl, as you cover your little one to bed. Don't waste a second bowl to transfer the dough. These are for weak ones that have time to wash them afterwards.
- For the sauce, take a cup, pour in the juice. Smash the garlic and grate it, throw it into the ocean of juice and season with salt and pepper.
- Wake up the dough and after admiring it a bit, cut it into pieces big enough to cover the pan(s) you will be using. You can also bake the "pizzoni" on parchment paper. You decide. Cooking requires a big heart and soul.
- Brush the base with the tomato thoroughly and top with the grated mozzarella.
- Bake at 200 degrees until it becomes lustful and speaks lewdly to you.
- Once it's ready, throw it out and be the hero of the house. Still referring to the pizza. Don't get ideas.
Notes
One of the most loved pizzas, the margherita is an option for the evening snacking/devouring or a party. Don’t think about it. You make it fast and eat it even faster. For larger quantities, double/triple, etc.
